If you are buying a new home, these are the steps that you will follow to qualify for a home loan from SA Home Loans.
With our handy Mortgage Calculators you can calculate the size of the home loan you could qualify for, and how much you can afford.
Send us the required documentation. Thereafter your consultant will do the rest.
Approval in Principle takes up to 2 days once all the necessary documentation has been received; after you've signed this approval we can proceed to the next step.
An expert appraiser will arrange an appointment to value the property, which takes approximately 3 working days to complete.
Subject to the credit approval, we'll prepare a home loan proposal, called a "letter of acceptance", which details the costs, interest rate, indicative instalment and other important information, for you to evaluate and sign.
Our national panel of attorneys will prepare all the necessary bond registration documents and will make an appointment with you to sign them.
Lodging your bond registration is the next step and happens immediately after you sign your documentation at the attorney.
Registration of your bond at the Deeds Office will take approximately 12 weeks.
Once your home loan is registered we will continue to provide you with personalised service and attention, to ensure that you get the most from your home loan throughout the life of your bond.
