The key purpose of the Finance Department is to manage all financial accounting processes for the SA Home Loans group. The Finance Department responsibility can be split into financial accounting and client processing.

The core purpose of the Management Accounting Department is to provide SAHL Business Managers with accurate, relevant financial information and analysis in order to assist them to more efficiently run their respective departments. Key components of this include ensuring that information is correctly and consistently represented, and shared in a usable and automated format. Finance also provide tools and assistance that allows the business managers to interpret the large volume of information available into meaningful outputs
