Beneficial Ownership Declaration for Trusts

A beneficial owner means:

1. A natural person who directly or indirectly ultimately owns or exercises effective control of:
   a) A client of an accountable institution; or
   b) A legal person, partnership or trust that owns or exercises effective control of, as may be, a client of an accountable institution.
2. Each natural person who ultimately owns or exercises effective control of that legal entity.

For a Trust, beneficial owners include the founder, all trustees, and all beneficiaries. Where a beneficiary is a juristic person or another trust, the natural persons who ultimately own or control that entity must also be identified.
