SA Home Loans offered me 100% finance and beat all interest rates offered by the banks too.
I applied for a bond in February 2018 for a house in a new development. When the bank I bank with decided to offer 96% of the purchase price because it was my second bond, SA Home Loans offered me 100% finance and beat all interest rates offered by the banks too. And because the repayment was a salary deduction the interest rate was discounted by a further 1%.
As a new development, the house was only built after all paperwork between SA Home Loans and the developer was finalised. My house was eventually registered in March 2019 and I moved into it in April 2019. What has impressed me was that some of the clients who were financed by the banks had accumulated municipal costs from the date of bond registration which was not the case with SA Home Loans. My municipal account commenced from the date of registration of the house at the Deeds Office. I am truly grateful that I didn't have to pay municipal services that I did not enjoy.
