The thought of owning a house started when my child came from Umtata to start her schooling in East London.

I was staying in a 2 room house which is meant only for one person. The three of us were now staying in a two room house. I decided to buy a property. I went to my bank and I was rejected although they kept on calling me to take their other products.

One day, a Century 21 agent called me telling me about a house that we viewed previously.  We were interested but due to the price, we could not commit.

SA Home Loans approved the home loan and they were patient and assisted me in sorting out the finances that were blocking my way to owning my first house.  I am grateful to them for everything they have done. I am now staying in my house.
