Are you a creative storyteller who knows how to make brands stand out online? SA Home Loans is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to help us grow our presence across Meta, LinkedIn, X and beyond. This role is about more than just posting content! It’s about building communities, protecting our reputation and using digital platforms to connect purpose with performance. You’ll be hands-on in creating content, managing engagement and driving campaigns that matter.
We are looking for someone who constantly puts their best foot forward, is proactive with projects and keeps the Communications Manager and Head of Department updated at all times.
What You Will Be Doing
- Meticulously plan and schedule engaging content across multiple platforms.
- Create content such as videos, reels, carousels and blog posts.
- Manage consultant and branch Facebook pages to ensure brand consistency.
- Work with agencies and internal teams to deliver targeted campaigns.
- Conceptualise and write high-quality copy across multiple platforms (social, digital, video, campaigns, online content) in clear, compelling, brand-consistent language.
- Track, analyse and report on performance to refine our communications strategy.
- Research target audiences and competitors to refine campaign strategies and strengthen online positioning.
- Contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions with stakeholders, ensuring fresh, innovative approaches to digital content.
- Support event campaigns and activations with digital amplification.
What We Are Looking For
- Exceptional and proven copywriting and creative skills.
- Experience working within a Marketing environment is essential.
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and X tools.
- Organised, detail-oriented and confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
- Experience working with Digital/Creative teams building schedules.
- Experience with international brands is an advantage.
Minimum Requirements
1. Education
• Matric
• Marketing or Corporate Communications Degree
2. Experience
• 6+ years of experience in social media management for big brands.
• 6+ years working within a studio environment.
