I bought my house below market value because it needed restorations. A well known bank approved my bond for R100 000 more so that my house could be restored afterwards. After a year I asked the R100 000 from the bank to restore my house. It was refused with a shock. I applied to SA Home Loans for the transfer of the whole bond including the R100 000 to them. They approved it. Thanks to them it was possible to do some restoration on my house.
