After much deliberation over renting vs buying, my wife and I decided to purchase a residence last year. I approached numerous bond originators although their rates didnt even come close to SAHL. SAHLs application to approval process was seamless. Our bond was approved in December 2010 and we had an uphill battle to obtain the rates clearance from the municipality in Johannesburg. The transfer of the residence only happened on 30 September 2011 a whole 9 months later. During this time SAHL remained calm and understood the situation and did not go back on their initial approval. I must say that SAHL is one of a kind and I am pleased to be one of their clients.
